Police officer Johanna continues the murder investigation but the case constantly takes new and unexpected turns, and soon it seems impossible to trust anyone. Then matters are complicated further when her Johanna’s friend Madelene returns, having been presumed dead for 18 years. Meanwhile, Johanna’s relationship with her childhood sweetheart Danne is put to the test when he is torn between her and his wife Pernilla. Who will he choose - or who will eventually choose him? And the biggest question of all: who is the serial killer in Hammarvik?
