Generally forgotten to time, this made-for-TV version of Dickens' classic manages to have Patrick Stewart Starring as Scrooge.
This one really shows the power of AI Upscaling. The quality and details the AI was capable of pulling out of the DVD rip (the original file was so small, it wasn't even worth encoding!) Is pretty incredible. There are a couple of scenes and transitions with combing artifacts, I believe this comes down to spotty video mastering (This was produced by Hallmark, in the 90's, no less) Overall, much more watchable on modern displays.
This one was upscaled as an experiment, as to make the AI "hurt," given the poor quality of the source video. Of course it seems to have handled it just fine.
